Pirates Bay is a new community just outside the center of Port Aransas, offering a short drive to restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The community of Pirates Bay features two exquisite slope entry pools, BBQ area and fire pit area, as well as a great kids play area. This unit was built in 2012 and has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The living area opens up into the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and everything you will need to cook a meal in paradise.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own bathroom with dual sinks, walk-in shower, whirlpool tub and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and its own bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed. There is also an alcove off the living area with twin size bunk beds so this property can sleep 9 guests in beds. All bedrooms and the living room have flat screen TVs with cable service. The unit also features wireless internet and a washer/dryer utility room inside the condo.

Wood-look tile floors throughout, with high ceilings and shiplap wood in the living room.

This property comes with 2 assigned parking spaces in front of the unit. There is some overflow parking in the complex, however this is first come, first served and can be limited during peak times.

Since this home is located on the bay side of Highway 361, it is not possible to access the rest of the island with a golf cart. There are no legal golf cart crossings to get across Highway 361. For your own safety, we do not recommend attempting to rent a golf cart with this property.

Attention Winter Texans! This property is available from November through February at $1800 a month.

Great stay

Great Stay!

This property was perfect for our stay with kids. Everything was clean and we had all items needed inside the rental. Being right next to the pool was awesome. Close drive to beach. Great family retreat

Great place for us as a month long retreat. It's quick to get to the beach and excellent if you want to hunker down as a family. We had such a good time for the first couple weeks in the house and at the beach we never really went to town. By the end of the stay, I kinda wished we had done more in the funky local shops in the older parts of Port A. It's all close, but far enough out that it's easy to miss all the shops and restaurants if you don't put in the effort to go find them. It's great because we were away from that and just did our own thing and had a great time at the beach, but also kinda out of the loop and maybe we missed some of the action. So I would say it's both a PRO and a Slight Con. Huge place with lots of room and extra bathrooms so extended family coming down for Thanksgiving was easy. Very nicely furnished and maintained with lots of room.

We stayed in with our adult daughter, son-in+law, and 2 grandkids. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and more. It was very well furnished and a great location in the resort right by the pool. Everything worked fine and we were quite happy with the unit. The only downside is that being on the bay side of the main highway, you are not allowed to drive a golf cart to the location. We had hoped to rent a golf cart to travel to the beach, but the rental outfit told us they were not allowed to rent to people staying at that location. - (Jul 2021 - VRBO)

Home away from home

Wow! This property was amazing! It had everything we needed and the kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances, utensils, and cook ware. It's right next to the pool and we loved getting to sit on the patio and watch our family play in the pool and playground. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were much bigger than expected. We had more than enough room for our very large family of 9.

Great place!

We've stayed at several places in Pirates Bay, this unit was great to stay in as it accommodated the 7 of us well. Located right next to the back pool was nice, a little noisy at times but not too bad. The access code to the pool gate didn't work, but according to other guests, their codes didn't work either.
